The Gunsho Ruijū (群書類従) is a large collection of premodern texts compiled by the blind scholar Hanawa Hokiichi (塙保己一). Its genealogy section (keifu-bu, 系譜部) contains the imperial genealogy and the genealogies of several ancient clans, and is the origin of many of the texts reprinted in later genealogy collections.
Japanese names are given in Japanese order (family name first).

The Zoku Gunsho Ruijū
The Zoku Gunsho Ruijū (続群書類従), planned by Hokiichi, was continued by his son Tadazane, who submitted its list of works to the shogunate in 1822. Modern typeset editions were published by Keizai Zasshisha (1902–1914) and then by Zoku Gunsho Ruijū Kanseikai from 1923. The genealogical material of both series was later gathered in the Gunsho Keizu Bushū.
Notes for Researchers
Cite the volume number of the original series, as later collections reprint these texts with different pagination. Compare each line with other genealogies, temple records and family documents.
